Coronavirus and Campaigns

We’ve all been affected by the impact of coronavirus. The impact of the pandemic is far reaching and affects all parts of a campaign from grassroots outreach to public speaking.
What you don’t want in the current political environment is to be accused of politicizing the virus, needlessly blaming it on other candidates or political ideologies. Such statements could backfire quickly and escalate out of your control.
To take advantage of the situation in a way that shouldn’t hurt, we reach back into the playbook of businesses from the 1990s and prior. This was a time where people put their name on anything and everything.
A good idea is to put out images giving advice to the general public about preventing the coronavirus’ spread and simply put your campaign logo on it. Such images are cheap, quick, and easy to make. Make sure to use the most accurate and up to date information as possible in whatever you produce. A great source of information to use would be the CDC’s website.

According to several sources, engagement on social media and digital advertising is ballooning right now, which means such creations would get your name in front of more eyes.
